25 February 2026 – The TESDA Leyte Provincial Office held the 2026 Provincial TVET Forum for Districts 3, 4, and 5 at ACLC College of Ormoc City, Inc., Ormoc City, Leyte. The forum oriented partner institutions on TESDA’s latest strategic directions through policy discussions, knowledge-sharing, and strengthened institutional linkages.
The event aimed to unify efforts in delivering responsive programs aligned with local and national workforce goals, promote best practices, and foster a collective commitment to effective TVET program delivery.
The forum was spearheaded by TESDA Leyte Provincial Director Engr. Enrico C. Banario and attended by school administrators of TTIs/TVIs and managers of assessment centers.
The team was able to update and capacitate the participants regarding TESDA’s current priorities, policies, guidelines, and reform initiatives.
Discussions focused on:
New Omnibus Guidelines and updates on Scholarship Implementation and Competency Assessment and Certification (CAC) Systems
Orientation on Enterprise-based Education and Training (EBET) registration and implementation
Updates and Validation of Provincial Skills Priorities (PSP) – Year 3 (CY 2026)
Program Registration guidelines and implementation
These discussions aimed to enhance institutional readiness, governance, and operational efficiency in TVET program delivery.
