The DMW RO8 team was led by OIC Regional Director ๐๐๐๐. ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ ๐. ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ผ-๐๐ด๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐บ, together with Senior Labor and Employment Officer ๐ ๐. ๐๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐๐ฎ๐ป and Labor and Employment Officer III ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐. ๐ง๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ, who personally extended condolences directly to the family.
During the visit, the team provided emotional support and shared information on available welfare and reintegration assistance. The activity also served to strengthen direct engagement with OFW families, ensuring that their concerns are addressed beyond the repatriation process.
This home visitation highlights the Departmentโs people-centered approach to service delivery, emphasizing sustained support for OFWs and their families, especially during times of loss. Through initiatives such as this, DMW RO8 reaffirms its unwavering commitment to uphold the welfare and well-being of OFWs and their families across Eastern Visayas.
