24 February 2026 – The MUFDA Farm hosted a benchmarking visit from DA-PhilMech representatives. The visit focused on studying Competency Standard (CS) Development for coconut value-added programs and documenting successful processing and management strategies to benefit DA-PhilMech’s Shared Processing Facilities (SPF) program.
TESDA-Southern Leyte Provincial Director Imelda C. Malatbalat, alongside MUFDA owner Mr. Maximo T. Locop, Jr. and Engr. Lerma C. Parado, welcomed the DA-PhilMech delegation, which included Engr. Jenny Rose A. Soriano, Engr. Nestor Cruz, and Mr. Rehden Marck L. Cuenca.
