TESDA Samar Holds Courtesy Meeting with Samar Top Officials to Strengthen Tailored-Fit TVET Implementation

26 February 2026 — The TESDA Samar Provincial Office conducted a fruitful 3-in-1 courtesy meeting at Casa Ricardo, Catbalogan City, Samar, to reinforce collaboration and advance the implementation of tailored-fit Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs aligned with the development priorities of the province.

The meeting was held with Hon. Sharee Ann Tan, Governor of Samar; Hon. Stephen James Tan, Representative of the 1st District of Samar, House of Representatives; and Hon. Michael Reynolds Tan, Representative of the 2nd District of Samar, House of Representatives.

The discussion focused on aligning TESDA programs with local workforce demands, expanding access to skills training across districts, and strengthening support for priority sectors to accelerate inclusive growth and sustainable development in Samar Province.
