๐ฌ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ | Congratulations to the passers of the ICT Proficiency Certification Examination held last May 30 and November 21, 2025 at the Conference Room of DICT Regional Office VIII. Four successful examinees from Samar State University, Visayas State University, and ACLC College of Tacloban were recognized.
This certification, offered by the DICT through the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau in partnership with the Civil Service Commission, is no easy featโrequiring a two-hour written exam and a six-hour hands-on programming challenge.
Assistant Secretary Melvyn Carlo Barroa commended the passers and challenged them to use their skills to uplift communities across Eastern Visayas and the nation.
The event was graced by Assistant Secretary Melvyn Carlo T. Barroa, together with Division Chiefs, Provincial Officers and Project Focals of DICT Region VIII.
