The DICT Digital Skills for Out-of-School Youth and Unemployed program delivers targeted ICT training to young Filipinos who are neither in school nor in employment — a population that faces significant risk of long-term economic marginalization if not reached with timely skills interventions. The program provides participants with practical digital competencies in areas such as virtual assistance, digital content creation, basic programming, social media marketing, and online freelancing, equipping them with skills that are directly applicable to entry-level opportunities in the digital economy and remote work marketplace.
Delivered in partnership with PESO offices, local government units, and community organizations, the program is designed to be accessible and immediately actionable — meeting out-of-school youth and unemployed individuals where they are and providing them with a concrete, achievable pathway into productive employment or self-employment.
