Tech4ED (Technology for Education, Employment, Entrepreneurs, and Economic Development) Centers

Tech4ED Centers are DICT-established community technology hubs that provide Filipinos — particularly those in underserved and geographically isolated areas — with access to ICT infrastructure, digital literacy training, and a range of employment and livelihood support services. With over 219 centers operating nationwide, Tech4ED serves as a physical bridge between communities and the digital economy, offering internet connectivity, computer access, and structured training programs in digital skills, online entrepreneurship, and e-government services in spaces that are free and open to the public.

Beyond connectivity and training, Tech4ED Centers also serve as local delivery points for various government digital services and employment assistance programs, often working in coordination with PESO offices and other partner agencies to provide job referrals, livelihood coaching, and access to online job portals. For many Filipinos in rural and remote communities where private internet infrastructure is limited or unaffordable, Tech4ED Centers represent their primary — and sometimes only — point of access to the digital tools and skills that are increasingly essential for economic participation. These centers embody DICT’s vision of a digitally inclusive Philippines where no community is left behind in the national digital transformation journey.
