Project CLICK (Cybersafety and Literacy for ICT Knowledge)

Project CLICK, or Cybersafety and Literacy for ICT Knowledge, is a DICT initiative aimed at building the digital safety awareness and foundational ICT literacy of students and young Filipinos. The program covers essential topics including online safety practices, recognition and avoidance of cyber threats such as phishing, cyberbullying, and online scams, responsible use of social media, data privacy awareness, and basic digital competencies that prepare young learners for participation in the digital environment — both as informed citizens and as future members of the digital workforce.

By targeting students at the formative stages of their digital engagement, Project CLICK addresses the critical need for cyber education at the grassroots level — equipping the next generation of Filipino workers with not only the technical skills to use digital tools productively, but also the critical thinking and safety consciousness to do so responsibly. The program is delivered in schools and community settings in partnership with local government units and educational institutions, making it one of DICT’s key contributions to building a digitally literate, safe, and workforce-ready youth population.
