Psycho-Social and Labor-Related Counseling is a support service offered by the Department of Migrant Workers to assist Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) both abroad and upon their return to the Philippines.
This service provides:
- Psycho-social support to help OFWs cope with stress, trauma, or emotional challenges related to working overseas
- Labor-related counseling on employment concerns, workplace issues, and workers’ rights
- Guidance on reintegration for returning OFWs, including livelihood planning and adjustment support
- Referral to specialized services such as legal aid, medical assistance, or social welfare programs
The program ensures that Filipino migrant workers receive emotional, psychological, and practical support, promoting their overall well-being, resilience, and successful reintegration after overseas employment.
