Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP)

The Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) is a TESDA-administered scholarship initiative designed to address critical skills shortages in the country’s priority and high-demand industries. Through partnerships with accredited TVET providers, the program funds the training of qualified Filipino workers and job seekers in sectors identified by the government and industry stakeholders as experiencing significant labor market gaps — including manufacturing, construction, information and communications technology, tourism and hospitality, health and wellness, and other emerging fields.

Scholarship grants under the TWSP cover the full cost of training fees at participating institutions, allowing scholars to complete short-term technical-vocational courses and earn National Certificates (NC) without financial burden. By aligning training outcomes directly with the needs of employers and industries, the program ensures that graduates are work-ready and equipped with competencies that meet current market demand. The TWSP serves as a vital bridge between the Filipino workforce and meaningful employment opportunities in both local and overseas labor markets.
