The NSPESO “Hired on the Spot” Story
For almost two months, I had been actively looking for a job. It wasn’t easy—there were moments of doubt—but I kept believing that the right opportunity would come at the right time. One day, while scrolling through the Northern Samar Public Employment Service Office (NSPESO) Facebook page, I came across a post from Project Dungganon looking for a Loan Officer. Something in me said, “This might be it.”
I prepared my documents and applied. The process was surprisingly smooth and well organized. Everything—from registration to the interview—was handled professionally. The NSPESO staff were approachable and kind, making the entire experience less stressful and even exciting.
When it was finally my turn for the interview, I gave it my best shot. I was nervous, of course, but I also felt confident because of the supportive atmosphere at the job fair. To my surprise, I was hired on the spot. At first, I couldn’t believe it, but all the effort, waiting, and prayers had finally paid off.
I am truly grateful to NSPESO for organizing job fairs that give jobseekers like me the opportunity to find meaningful work. I would also like to thank Dungganon Bank for believing in me and giving me the chance to grow and contribute to their team.
This experience reminded me that perseverance really pays off. Sometimes, all it takes is one brave step and the right opportunity to change your life. Today, I am starting a new chapter in my career—and I owe this wonderful moment to NSPESO and the people who make these programs possible.
