Before entering senior high school, I remember feeling completely lost. Choosing a strand felt overwhelming, and I was scared of making the wrong decision. Everyone around me seemed so sure of what they wanted to become, while I was still uncertain about my own path.
Everything changed when I joined the Career Development Support Program (CDSP). The sessions opened my eyes to so many possibilities. Listening to professionals share their stories and experiences gave me a better understanding of different career paths. But more than that, CDSP helped me gain confidence in making decisions for myself.
“One message from the career coaching session that stayed with me was:
Being a good decision-maker shapes the life you live.”
That line became my guide. With a clearer sense of purpose, I confidently chose my strand in senior high school and later decided to pursue Nursing in college. Today, as a second-year nursing student, I look back with so much gratitude.
The Career Development Support Program was not only instrumental in choosing my course but it also helped me realize what I wanted to be. It provided me with the vision and the boldness to take control of my future and trust that every single choice I make leads me to my dreams.
