𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗼, 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 – Earlier today, the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜 (𝗗𝗠𝗪 𝗥𝗢 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜), led by Officer-in-Charge Regional Director 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗕. 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼- 𝗔𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺, paid a courtesy visit to the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜.
They were warmly welcomed by Regional Director 𝗣𝗕𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗟. 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗼𝘆. Also present during the meeting were Chief LEO 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗖. 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹, 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗮, 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝘇𝗮, 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼, and 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗥. 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗼, along with other key officials from both agencies.
The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen the partnership between DMW and PNP, particularly in intensifying Anti-Illegal Recruitment and Trafficking in Persons (AIRTIP) Campaigns. OIC Regional Director Agliam also highlighted DMW’s flagship programs that aim to protect and support Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of both agencies to promote the welfare, security, and protection of OFWs in the region.
