The Department of Information and Communications Technology Regional Office VIII (DICT RO8), through its eGovPH Team, held an onboarding meeting with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) on February 25, 2026, in Tacloban City. The discussion focused on integrating OWWA’s online services into the eGovKiosk to improve accessibility, efficiency, and user experience for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their beneficiaries. Both agencies explored collaboration opportunities, with DICT offering technical support and infrastructure, while OWWA expressed readiness to work together in expanding access to essential programs, marking a key step toward advancing digital governance in Eastern Visayas.
